When gamely game asked me to review Frozen Unicorns, I instantly knew this was the game my Girls had been waiting for. It also sounded like it was going to be full on family fun for all.
Who are Gamely game?
I love getting to know about the companies I am working with. I loved finding out all about Hazel and how she started Gamely Games. Hazel began by coming up with a game called Randomise to try and encourage her 12 year old sister to spend LESS time on the ipad (Hey we’ve all tried!).
Randomise is a fun describing game where you draw or act out prompts for others to work out. It became a family hit. With the support of her family and friends, Hazel and Husband Chris went on to make the game a reality.
As her family grew, so did her business and Tina came on board. The brand continued to grow in success, Even landing the them on Dragon’s Den!
What I love most is the fact that Gamely game donate games to disadvantaged families at Christmas. This is a cause close to my heart as it ties in with the job I do. I know what a huge different this kindness will make to families. As a company they aim to donate 10% of their profits to charity as well which is just amazing.
Silly family fun for all with Frozen Unicorns
As a family, when it comes to games, we really do enjoy them. But with 3 children of varied ages, it can be really tricky to accommodate all abilities. One of our game choosing criteria is something that is suitable for all. Not always easy to find though. Frozen Unicorn is more than suitable for all ages!
The idea behind frozen unicorns is to basically have as much fun as you can with the whole family. It’s such a simple idea and so easy to execute especially for younger children. All you need to know is right here, directly from their website.
In this game everyone except one pretends to be the same frozen animal or person. While the last person has to try and work out what on Earth they are… Points are awarded for not just guessing correctly, but also the best statue.

How much fun did we have?
I can’t tell you how much we all laughed! My stomach hurt and my face ached from laughing.
I think it is only fair to share with you the sort of things we got up to… I am just glad that I was in charge of the camera and none of my moments were caught!!
We spent hours playing and some of the things I witnessed were just hilarious! That’s before I even mention the things I got up to myself!
I can’t recommend this game enough. We have already decided it will be coming on holiday with us in a few weeks time. It will make for a lot of fun over Christmas as well!

What a great idea. As a kid and still now I love playing games with family and girlfriend. Especially in autumn and winter months with Christmas coming up. It is always so much fun and the perfect rainy day activity with family. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I love a good family game night. This looks like fun, and I really like it because it could be easily portable and it’s not complicated.

Frozen Unicorns is such a great game. We have had hours of fun playing it and like you’ve mentioned, is suitable for all ages. My nan has dementia and even she has loved playing it.
