It’s finally December 2020. The longest and quickest year known to man. But we made it and it is finally beginning to look a lot like Christmas and this brings me so much joy. It might not be the December we were hoping for but we made it non the less!
We have all needed something to look forward to and now it is finally here. OK so it may not look like the kind of Christmas we are used to. Things are bound to be different, but it does not mean in any way that Christmas is cancelled. In fact quite the opposite I think this year.
Let’s go big! Let’s Christmas like we have never Christmas-ed before. Let’s make every Christmas that came before it jealous of this one. Christmas 2010? No thanks, It’s Christmas 2020 for me!
This year I have decided to throw myself in to Blogmas just to add to the excitement and pressure.
What is Blogmas?
The idea behind blogmas is to write Christmas content throughout the month of December. I feel though, that Katie explains the whole idea much better in her Blogmas Planning post. She is the Queen of Blogmas and has even created an E-book for those who want to get involved. As soon as I bought her E-book, I knew that I had to take part!
The idea of this challenge is to share daily Christmas related content. For some though, daily posting is just too much. I know even the thought of it is enough to have me break out in a sweat! Writing the content is hard enough, but finding the time to promote it can be exhausting.
For me I will be doing the 12 days of Blogmas. A post every other day until Christmas day!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas/Blogmas!
So what can you expect from Our Favourite Jar during Blogmas? Well I’d love to say I have really got my shit together and I have it all planned out. Who am I kidding right?? I am all on board with Christmas and I am super organised for it.
But Blogmas is another matter. I have so many ideas, but finding the time is hard. So why am I pushing myself to join in?
Well I love talking all things Christmas, I am excited just thinking about all the amazing content I know will be coming up over the next month. And all the Christmas content from all of my favourite bloggers. I wanted to create some evergreen Christmas content as well but the main reason is Katie and her book made me do it!
I hope to sprinkle some Christmas magic over my blog this year, talk about some of my favourite things about this time of year and some of the things we love as a family.
So I shall see you every other day in December and what I post will be as much of a surprise to me as it is to you!

Happy December Claire! I haven’t participated in blogmas but I love to read other’s posts. Yours are always so uplifting and positive. This year I am going BIG with Christmas. It helps with the disappointment of not being able to travel to see family in Finland or UK. Looking forward to more posts xx

Blogmas sounds like such a fantastic idea, but I’m done… I’m utterly knackered now and am trying to wind down so I can thoroughly enjoy Christmas! I cannot believe we are already on 1st December!!!!!! 🙂 Sim x

YEssss! That’s exactly how i felt. Let’s Christmas like we’ve never Christmas’d before! LOL. 2020, what a year, which is why I decorated early and did it (some would say,) “extra” this year. Let’s make the best of the end of the year!
I’m not doing blogmas this year but I did participate last year! I planned at the beginning and then towards the end…the content was a surprise to me as it was to the readers LOL.

Definitely agree with this year being the longest and the fastest year! I was like how are we in December but back in October I was like omg barely fall!! lol I am doing my first Blogmas over at my blog. I love Christmas so much so I knew I had to get in on it too!
