Netflix has been one of the biggest saviour’s of 2020, keeping us all entertained and constantly delivering great TV. Christmas is no exception. Today’s Blogmas post is all about the best Christmas films and TV from Netflix has available. Of course other platforms are available… Or like me you might have most of the Christmas films ever made on DVD, but who really watches those anymore!

Christmas Chronicles 2
Last year, Christmas Chronicles was an absolute hit. Who knew Kurt Russell would make such an exceptional Santa? But he was one of the best!
This year we have the 2nd (hopefully not the last) installment and let’s just say Santa really delivered.
Holidate
This is new to Neflix and it’s a real Christmas cracker! Its probably not the most family friendly one on the list though. This reminds me of one of my favourite films ‘How to be Single’. It’s a Christmas romance at heart and is well worth a watch.
Or 2 in our case as we managed to squeeze it in again before the big day!
The Holiday Calendar
We all need a little magic at Christmas and this film has it in spades! With the help of a magical advent calendar, Abby realises the guy she has friend zoned could actually be the love of her life.
Makes my non-existent advent calendar seem even more lame!
Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey
If you like your films to be based in an imaginary world with some magical inventions thrown in then this new Netflix Christmas film is for you. It was a big hit in our house. But that might be the fact that we all love a musical!
Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square
The legend that is Dolly Parton continues to be a big name, especially since news that she donated $1 million to the Covid vaccine cause! She really can do no wrong. And this Netflix musical special is just another reason to love her.
Dash and Lily
Not a film, but a lovely story of love at Christmas. Two strangers fall in love through a notebook. Not child friendly but a great 30 minute filler that you can really binge!
Based on a book, this could have missed the mark but I loved the characters and all their near misses. I really hope this makes a return for Christmas 2021.
Holiday home Makeover with Mr Christmas
Oh I loved this show! 4 episodes was just not enough, We need more Netflix please! Watch as Mr Christmas gives homes in America a festive overhaul. Yes I want to move to a pretty big house and yes I want to work for Mr Christmas!
It really got me in the mood for Christmas though, they really know how to go all out with the decor in America.
Alien Xmas
This 42 minute feature on Netflix is perfect Christmas chaos. An Alien is mistaken for a present by an Elf… What could go wrong?

Liking this list, we have similar family tastes clearly! Every year we go for The Muppets Christmas Carol and I’d never seen it all the way through until this year. Really enjoyed it! (not sure if it’s still on Netflix anymore however).

Great selection! We love Christmas Chronicles and all sat down to watch number 2 last weekend after putting our decorations up and we loved it! Definitely going to be one we watch again and again each year! Will have to check out some more of your suggestions too.

I definitely need to watch some of these. The Holidate sounds lovely. Although its not a Christmas film as such, I do love to watch the first Bridget Jones film at this time of year.
