Great things to include in a Christmas Eve box

I have been creating a Christmas Eve box for my son since his very first Christmas in 2008. I am not sure where the idea came from… Probably Pinterest… But I instantly loved the idea.

Christmas Eve has long been my favourite day of the festive season. Obviously most poeple would say Christmas day but for me the 24th is the ultimate! It’s a really magical day, full of excitement and anticipation.

I have used this love for Christmas eve to base our Christmas eve box on. I fill it full of wonderful items that we can then shape our day around. Today for Blogmas day 9, I am sharing what to put in your special delivery!

How to create a Christmas eve box

I try not to spend too much money on our boxes but it is about filling the whole day with fun so I think it can be justified. If you want to, it can be helpful to set a budget.

For my children, it is one box each to save on arguments. When it was just the boy and I, we’d have a special box to share together. The Elves always leave our boxes for us. It is a great way to end their visit and makes them seem even more special!

But the question of course is what do I fill it with, that’s why you’re here right!
