Quite often, when completing any work on our house, it will be the small touches that finish it off. See how I made our house a home with Poster store. How I got on with Poster Store

My experience of ordering from them was completely seamless. I was able to search by theme which really helped me narrow down what I wanted. I was looking primarily for nature posters. I could then filter down by size, colour or layout. I knew what space I had to fill so for me, filtering this by size meant I could get exactly what I needed.

Getting the right frame to match the print sizes I chose was easy to do and I could keep an eye on my basket at any point. This meant I could adjust the frame quantity as I ordered the prints. I didn’t want more prints than I then had frames for!

The delivery itself arrived within a few days via courier. It was well packaged and meant there was no risk of damage at all. I’ve previously ordered prints and they’ve always arrived rolled up, with Poster Store they were packed flat which meant there was no curling of the prints. No need to weigh then down flat before I framed them. Perfect!

What I really appreciated though was the fact that the frames are so versatile. Rather than using glass in the frame they are made of plastic, this is essential for us with 3 inquisitive children around. They would be easy to hang on the wall, either landscape or portrait but come with a stand already attached. As we have just had the wall’s plastered I did not want to attached them directly to the wall, thanks to the design, I now do not need to.

What I ordered from Poster Store

I was actually on holiday when my delivery arrived and let’s be honest no one really wants their holiday to be over. This time though I was genuinely excited to get home to see my new prints.

As I said previously, they were well packed which meant I had them up in their new home 5 minutes after I opened the box.

These prints were going to be the final element of our newly fitted kitchen. Our kitchen is white gloss with a black gloss worktop, the walls are white with one dark green feature wall. We wanted something to compliment and tie in the green we’d chosen. This is why we looked to nature for our inspiration.

As soon as we spotted the botanical prints we knew it was exactly what we were looking for, I have to say it works perfectly. The results are flawless, the prints are so vivid and sharp that I feel it really has bought that homely feel to our kitchen.

We opted for the copper/rose gold finish for our frames because it is a colour that features in our kitchen accessories and it’s perfect.

As well as the botanical range we opted for, I am also partial to a quote. I like to have them up all around the home and prior to the kitchen re-fit, I had lots in the kitchen.

Now that is a quote free zone, I needed to find something for other areas of the house. Poster Store really delivered. Again I opted for a copper frame for the 3 prints I chose.

Both of these I simply adore. They now sit either side of our dresser in the living room and it feels like a great way to tie in the kitchen decor across the rest of our home.

I also ordered a beautiful dreamy feeling unicorn print for the girls bedroom but as they love being nosy while I write and I want to surprise them with it, you’ll have to check out Instagram to get a peek of that one.
