Being a grown up

I am the sort of person that is always on the look out for an adult, the person who still needs my parents opinion on all life decisions… Sofa colour, which carpet to buy, what to have for dinner and other momentous life choices.

So what i am about to tell you, I am pretty sure qualifies me to ‘Adult Status’

I’ve only gone and signed us up to the National trust and English Heritage!!!! See told you i’m a grown up!

Now this was a decision that allowed me to indulge my list writing love, If i was going to take the leap in to fully fledged adult, i needed to know that i was making the right choice. I got out a new notebook (Because who doesn’t love stationary?) and the handbooks for each that my parents had lent us and listed nearby national trust properties and then English heritage. I priced up each that we would like to go to and worked out just how much we could save.
I was amazed that these venues are so expensive for a family of 5, In fact looking at the saving we’d make i almost felt like i was missing something. How can they possibly offer all of this at £10 a month for the NT and £8 a month for EH? 

I checked other areas that we knew we’d be holidaying or visiting this year and my list of pros just kept on growing and it really was a no brainer.

To say i was excited when the membership packs dropped through the door would be an understatement, not just for the obvious reason, but also because it is the first official joint mail Rob and I have had *insert love-heart eye or vomiting emoji – you decide)

I think this is going to help us no end with our adventure year and will push us to explore further afield and even on the days where we might not feel like heading out, it’ll give us a kick to do it.

I did get the app in an attempt to make me feel a little less adult like, not sure it’ll work!
