I am so pleased to have been nominated for a 3rd time for the Sunshine blogger award tag. I say it every time but these awards mean so much to me. This one in particular is always a fun way to get to know someone.
This time around I was nominated by Top Beauty Woman, I love her eclectic mix on her blog from Beauty blogs to travel, She has it all. Thank you so much for nominating me amongst lots of amazing bloggers.
What is the SUNSHINE BLOGGING AWARD?
It’s an award given within the blogging and writing community in support of other bloggers and writers for their thoughtfulness and generosity, spreading positivity, show of support as the community connects together. Anyone can nominate their favorite blogger/ writer or someone who made an impact.

Answer of questions:
What was the main reason to start you blog?
I started my blog to follow our journey together as a new family. For our first Christmas together I created an activity jar. It was a collection of seasonal activities to do together as a family.
I wasn’t sure the kids would ‘get it’ but they absolutely loved it and couldn’t wait to go through all of the cards to see what the year ahead held for us.
Sadly due to my Mum becoming ill and passing away the jar took a back seat and I began to write about the journey that time took us through.
I now love to blog, I love the community that blogging has presented me with and I am continually overwhelmed by the love and support bloggers show each other.
2. What Social Media drives you more traffic?
It is without a doubt Facebook, although Twitter is starting to build now I am better at using it!
I used to only share on my personal facebook and the response from Family and Friends was overwhelming. Now though hardly anyone reads it from my ‘Real world’ since I began to take blogging more seriously.
3. If you can imagine that you are somebody else, who will be? Why?
I think I’d like to be my son. I’d love to see life through his eyes and maybe get an insight in to his world. He is a bright lad but he doesn’t often share much of his day to day life with me.
I’d love to know what his High school experience is like… or maybe not!
4. Where would you like live – in future or in the past?
I’d love to live near the sea, not necessarily abroad but just a small little seaside village. A house with a view of the sea so I can write and walk and enjoy retirement with my Man.
5.Why did you start blogging/writing?
I have loved to write since I was a child and a blog is the perfect way to write regularly.
6. Beside blogging, do you have a job? What is it?
I work in a school as an administrator for the pastoral team. I love my job and the added bonus of all those lovely holidays. Believe me when I say though that it is really hard work and those holidays are much needed. We are quite often on our needs by the time the holiday’s come round.
7. Can you describe yourself with GIF? What will be
I’m Christmas mad, I relate to Elf more than anything else!
8. How many times have you played a game and won?
I am really not a game player but I can almost always guarantee a Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly win!
9.Who is your favorite actor/actress?
Oh this is tough, I am quite fickle. I loved Johnny Depp for his versatility, but since his personal life seemed to overshadow his work I have to say I found myself less of a fan.
Julia Roberts is brilliant at what she does as is Tom Hanks. Another star for me is Leonardo Dicaprio, he really does just get better and better. He has found his style and he delivers every time.
10. What is the most important thing for you? (in your life)
My family and friends. It seems such an obvious answer but they really are my whole world.
11. If you met a stranger who needed help, will you help him? With what?
I’d like to think I’d help anyone but I do fear that the world with life in now, we have to air on the side of caution. I will always get involved in charitable events though which will help the masses rather than an individual.
